Strange but True Attendance

30 04 2007

60 at 9:30 Bible Study … and 56 at 10:30 main service? It’s actually the second time this year that it’s happened.
We had 30 come to help with the evangelistic newsletter this afternoon, and we were able to get a lot done.

Evangelism Training

24 04 2007

We’ve had fairly low attendance the last couple of weeks (after Easter). But we are off to a good start with our evangelism training on Sunday nights, and the Lord is bringing some good evangelistic opportunities for our church family.

Easter and DWYL

9 04 2007

We had good easter services, with about 70 people in our main service. I was disappointed – mostly with myself – because I did a very poor (nonexistent) job of inviting people. We had a 12-person choir that sang, and about 10 kids sang in our kids’ choir. Those things were very exciting. I preached the gospel using about 20 key verses from the first 10 chapters of Romans.
In the evening we finished up our “Don’t Waste Your Life” series, and next Sunday we begin our gospel (evangelism) training.
