Airports
There are a several major airports in Southern California. Here’s a list of some of them, starting with the ones you should consider first:

Ontario (ONT) is definitely the most convenient airport, only 5 minutes away from Rancho Cucamonga. But from destinations, flying into Ontario can be quite expensive. But you’ll want to always check Ontario first.

Santa Ana/John Wayna (SNA) – 50 miles: sometimes you can find good deals here

Los Angeles International (LAX) - 60 miles: usually the least expensive from most locations; traffic from LAX to Rancho can be difficult

Burbank/Bob Hope (BUR) - 50 miles: often quite expensive

San Diego (SAN) – 115 miles: rates from some locations are good, but the drive is long
Sites like kayak.com can help you find fares from many different sites, and programs like Expedia’s fare alert can help you watch for good deals. Several sites can show you a calendar that highlights the cheapest dates for travel.

Hotels
Priceline is the cheapest way to get a nice hotel near Rancho Cucamonga. They have an area labeled “Ontario,” in which you can often get very nice hotels (Hyatt Place, Hilton, etc.) for $50-60 a night. If you want help with priceline bidding, contact us. But if you would rather be able to pick your exact hotel, here are some recommendations:

When you search for hotels, look for hotels in both Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario.

The Holiday Inn Express Ontario Airport / Ontario Mills Mall has decent rates and breakfast.

The Ayres hotels (there are three in Ontario) often have $99 specials that include both dinner and breakfast.
- The Four Points by Sheraton is a brand new hotel in Rancho with good rates, but no breakfast.
